School Visit Program: Japan-Inspired Learning

The Embassy of Japan in Estonia visits Your school! We are ready to co-organize in person visits on a variety of topics about Japan. We can offer workshops and lectures to engage students in Japan-Inspired learning for the duration of one lesson.
We offer:

The Embassy of Japan in Estonia is also engaging Japanese exchange students to help with school visits. If you are interested in volunteering, please take a look at our volunteer open call.
*Please note that a visit cannot always be guranteed. Offer availability depends on the workshop leader availability.
We offer:
- A visit to your school with no cost to you
- A lecture held in Estonian, English, or Japanese
- Program tailored to your interests and the age of students
- A choice from the following options
- A lecture on a specific topic about Japan (food, culture, diplomacy, customs, pop-culture, cultural-etiquette)
- Introduction to Japanese Martial Arts
- Calligraphy, Haiku writing, Origami workshop, Mizuhiki, traditional Japanese dance, etc.
- Talks with Japanese students about their home
- Overview of Japanese Embassy offered scholarships for students
- Overview of Japanese Embassy offered scholarships for teachers
