Exchange of Diplomatic Notes for the introduction of working holiday between Japan and the Republic of Estonia

1 H.E. Mr. KITAOKA Hajime, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan exchanged diplomatic notes with Mr. Rainer Saks, Secretary General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia for the arrangements of working holiday between Japan and the Republic of Estonia in Tallinn on November 12, 2019.

2 The arrangements for working holiday are intended to make it possible for nationals of the other country who possess valid visas as participants of the working holiday program to stay for a period of up to one year to engage in employment as an incidental activity of their holiday for the purpose of supplementing their travel funds.

3 The arrangements of working holiday will take effect on March 11, 2020.

4 The arrangements of working holiday are expected to promote youth exchanges and mutual understanding, and to further deepen the friendly relationship between Japan and the Republic of Estonia.
