On 5th February, Counselor SAKAI, who started her duty in Estonia in January this year visited “e-Estonia Briefing Centre”, which was set up by the Estonian Government to introduce the reality of “Estonia, the most digitized country” with a Second Secretary, Mr. Toshifumi ITO.
Mr. Florian MARCUS, Digital Transformation Adviser gave a presentation on the history, characteristics, current situation and future outlook of the digitalization in Estonia with practical examples and demonstrations.
We actively exchanged views on how to deal with unexpected troubles and updates of the digital administrative system, the digital divide among generations, and so on.
