Working Holiday Visa

Japan’s  working holiday arrangement for nationals of the Republic of Estonia will take effect on March 11, 2020. 
1.  Embassy of Japan in Tallinn will start receiving applications for working holiday visa from March 11, 2020.
2.  Working holiday is an arrangement which is intended to make it possible for nationals of the Republic of Estonia (18-30 years old) to stay in Japan primarily for a holiday for up to 1 year after the entry to Japan and also engage in employment as an incidental aspect of their holiday in order to supplement their travel funds.
3.  The arrangement of working holiday is expected to promote youth exchanges and mutual understanding, and to further deepen the friendly relationship between Japan and the Republic of Estonia.
