Ambassador Matsumura paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Kallas

On 19th November, Ambassador Matsumura paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Kaja Kallas as the new Ambassador of Japan. Accompanied by the foreign policy advisor Ms. Lipre-Järma, the Prime Minister and the Ambassador exchanged views on the possibility of strengthening the Estonian-Japanese relations,
The ambassador expressed his resolve to strengthen bilateral relations with Estonia, a partner that shares fundamental values with Japan, in particular by promoting economic exchange. The Prime Minister welcomed the Ambassador's arrival and expressed her agreement on the importance of strengthening the economic relations and expressed her expectation for further strengthening of bilateral relations.
