The 13th Japanese speech Contest was held in Tallinn!
2023/4/4
On March 25, The Japanese speech contest was held in Tallinn for the first time since 2019 as a face to face event with 24 participants.
The speech contest was organized by The Japanese Cultural Society in Estonia and sponsored by the Japan Foundation, Omusubi Channel, Japan Airlines, Falcon Japan OÜ, Marubeni Corporation, Lingvist, Restaurant Yui, and the Embassy of Japan.
All 24 participants gave their best in their speeches and all speeches were impressive.
After the contest, various Japanese cultural events were held, including performances by Japanese high school students studying in Estonia, a Mochi (rice cake) pounding demonstration and origami workshops by the Japanese Cultural Society in Estonia.
We hope that this speech contest will serve as an opportunity for more Estonian people to deepen their interest in Japan and the Japanese language.
