Ambassador NAKAMURA exchanged views with participants of the JICC Seminar on Nuclear Power Development

On September 24, Ambassador NAKAMURA Koichiro hosted a reception at the official residence for Estonian and Japanese participants in the Seminar on Nuclear Power Development “Preparation for Estonian Nuclear Power Program”—organized by the JAIF International Cooperation Center (JICC) and held at the Estonian Ministry of Climate.
The gathering provided an opportunity to exchange views on the seminar's outcomes and on future cooperation between Japan and Estonia regarding the introduction of nuclear energy in Estonia. Participants included Mr. Antti Tooming, Deputy Secretary General on Environmental Protection and Biological Diversity from Ministry of Climate, and Mr. Kalev Kallemets, the CEO of Fermi Energia, from the Estonian side, as well as Mr. HARA Takashi, Executive Director of JICC, from the Japanese side; they engaged in a lively exchange of views.
