Ambassador NAKAMURA visits rare earth magnet factory of NPM Narva OÜ

On August 4, Ambassador NAKAMURA Koichiro visited the rare earth magnet factory of NPM Narva OÜ in Narva City, northeastern Estonia. This factory, which opened in September 2025, manufactures permanent magnets using rare earth elements for use in electric vehicles, wind generators, medical equipment, and other applications.
The Ambassador received an overview of the company from the managing director Dr. Greg Heydon and then toured the factory.
The company also has a base in Osaka and conducts business with Japanese companies.
