Ambassador NAKAMURA pays a courtesy call on Mr. Tõnis Kalberg, Mayor of Sillamäe City

On August 4, Ambassador NAKAMURA Koichiro made an official visit to Sillamäe City in Ida-Viru County, northeastern Estonia, and paid a courtesy call on its mayor Mr. Tõnis Kalberg.
This visit marked the first official visit to Sillamäe City by the Japanese Ambassador to Estonia. After receiving an overview of the city and its activities, the Ambassador exchanged views with the Mayor on the possibilities of exchange in the fields of tourism, culture, and economy.
Afterward, the Ambassador toured the Sillamäe Cultural Center, the city center promenade (Mere pst), and the seaside promenade, guided by Mayor Kalberg. These facilities are beautifully maintained and serve not only as places of relaxation for citizens but also as places that attract visitors to the city.
