Ambassador NAKAMURA exchanged views with Mr. Sutt, Minister of Energy and the Environment

On July 1, Ambassador NAKAMURA Koichiro hosted H.E. Mr. Andres Sutt, Minister of Energy and the Environment and officials from the Ministry of Climate to his residence to exchange views on the results of Minister Sutt's visit to Japan in May and future cooperation between Japan and Estonia in various fields, including energy and the environment.
Minister Sutt visited Japan from May 24th to 27th, where he met with Mr. AOYAMA Shigeharu, State Minister of the Environment on cooperation in the environment and climate, and with Mr. OCHI Toshiyuki, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry on cooperation in the energy and critical minerals. In addition, Minister Sutt gave interviews to the Japanese press and met with representatives from several government-related organizations and Japanese companies, exchanging views on cooperation between Japan and Estonia. Minister Sutt's visit was important for the future development of bilateral cooperation in these fields.
