On June 16, Ambassador NAKAMURA Koichiro participated in the "3rd Baltic-Indo-Pacific Forum" hosted by the Japan Chair established at the International Centre for Defence and Security (ICDS), and delivered an opening speech.

In the Ambassador's remarks, he highly appreciated the fact that the BIPF, hosted by the Japan Chair, has been deepening the recognition that the security of the Indo-Pacific and the Euro-Atlantic are inseparable, and expressed his expectation that discussions would deepen on what specific forms of cooperation Japan and Europe can undertake respectively in Europe and the Indo-Pacific.
