Participation of OKANO Masataka, Adviser to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the 3rd Baltic-Indo-Pacific Forum

From June 15 to 18, Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs OKANO Masataka (former Director General of the National Security Secretariat and former Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs), who was visiting Estonia to attend the Third Baltic Indo-Pacific Forum (BIPF), held a brief meeting with Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna prior to the sessions and exchanged views on the international situation.
Subsequently, Adviser OKANO spoke on Japan's security policy at the session titled "Great-Power Rivalry in the Indo-Pacific and Middle-Power Strategies – Perspectives from Europe and Japan," and exchanged views with the other panelists on the security situation in the Baltic region and the Indo-Pacific.

Subsequently, Adviser OKANO spoke on Japan's security policy at the session titled "Great-Power Rivalry in the Indo-Pacific and Middle-Power Strategies – Perspectives from Europe and Japan," and exchanged views with the other panelists on the security situation in the Baltic region and the Indo-Pacific.
