Read Japan Project Book Donation Ceremony at the Tallinn University of Technology Library

On May 7, Counsellor MIYATA Kenji visited the Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) Library, which received a donation of 73 Japan-related books through the Tokyo Foundation's "Read Japan Project." He attended the book donation ceremony alongside Rector, Prof. Tiit Land. Japanese students studying at the university also participated in the ceremony.
The project aims to promote understanding of Japan among opinion leaders and intellectuals—including those who do not specialize in Japanese language or Japanese studies—by donating English-language books about Japan to educational and research institutions worldwide.
Following the ceremony, Counsellor MIYATA toured the university facilities, guided by International Cooperation Coordinator, Ms. Anna-Maria Nizovtseva.
