On May 7, Ambassador NAKAMURA Koichiro visited the University of Tartu Asia Centre and he delivered a lecture on “Overview of the International Situation and Outlook for Japan’s Diplomacy”.
The Ambassador explained the major challenges facing Japanese diplomacy and Japan’s efforts to address them, particularly Japan’s policy of upholding a free and open international order based on the rule of law.
The students listened attentively to the lecture, followed by a lively Q&A session.
