Ambassador NAKAMURA exchanged views with Mr. Terras, Minister of Regional Affairs and Agriculture

On April 9, Ambassador NAKAMURA Koichiro and Mrs. NAKAMURA Keiko hosted H.E. Hendrik Johannes Terras, Minister of Regional Affairs and Agriculture and his spouse, Mrs. Maria Terras at the Residence and exchanged views on the results of the Minister's visit to Japan last month and the possibilities for deepening cooperation between Japan and Estonia in the agricultural and food sectors based on those results.
Minister Terras visited Japan on March 10th and 11th, participating in Foodex Japan 2026, the 51st international food and beverage exhibition held in Tokyo. He also met with his counterpart, Mr. SUZUKI Norikazu, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, to exchange views on cooperation between Japan and Estonia. This visit was important for the development of bilateral cooperation in this field.
