Ambassador NAKAMURA visits Kaga City, Ishikawa prefecture

On March 23, Ambassador NAKAMURA Koichiro took the opportunity of his business trip to Japan to visit Kaga City in Ishikawa Prefecture, which maintains a Friendship City Agreement with Haapsalu City.
During his visit, the Ambassador paid a courtesy call on Mayor YAMADA Toshiaki to exchange views on the current status of exchanges and possible ways to strengthen the relationship with Haapsalu. He also toured the Kutani Ware Kiln Museum, guided by officials from the Kaga City Government.
Kaga City and Haapsalu signed a Friendship City Agreement in 2023, aiming to adopt Estonia's advanced IT measures.
The Embassy will continue to contribute to the promotion of municipal exchanges, which serve as the foundation of the friendly relations between Japan and Estonia.
