On February 12, Ambassador NAKAMURA Koichiro and Mrs. NAKAMURA hosted a dinner at the residence with Prof. Alari Allik, Head of Asian Studies at the School of Humanities, Tallinn University, Ms. Ene Selart, Lecturer of Japanese History at the University of Tartu, and Mr. Miikael-Aadam Lotman, Visiting Lecturer in Philosophy and Japanese Studies at the School of Humanities, Tallinn University. During the gathering, they exchanged views on the current state of Japanese studies in Estonia and the possibility of establishing an association for Japanese studies.
The Embassy will continue to cooperate and support efforts to further revitalize Japanese studies and academic exchange in Estonia.
