On 1st March, Ambassador Matsumura paid a courtesy call on Minister of Rural Affairs, Urmas Kruuse. They exchanged views mainly on the current situations of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries industries in Estonia, and the impact of the Covid-19 on the food, beverage, and travel industries.
In particular, they discussed the policy to expand the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries industries by taking advantage of Estonia's unique characteristics, as well as the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in these areas between Estonia and Japan.
