Ambassador KITAOKA expressed his gratitude to the representatives of Estonian Foreign Ministry, Estonian Police, North Estonian Medical Centre, and Tallinn Town Hall

On 5th August, Ambassador Hajime KITAOKA invited the representatives of the Estonian Foreign Ministry, the Estonian Police, North Estonia Medical Centre, and Tallinn Town Hall to express his gratitude for their support for the diplomatic activities of the Japanese Embassy.
From the Foreign Ministry, Ms. Anneli SOOBA, Counsellor of the Protocol Section of the Foreign Ministry attended, and from the Estonian Police, Mr. Andris VILTSIN, Head of Personal Protection Bureau and Mr. Jaanus VRAGER, Chief Close Protection Officer attended.
And from the North Estonia Medical Centre, Dr. Natalia JEFIMOVA, Chief Doctor attended, and from Tallinn Town Hall, Ms. Ivi JÜRGENSON, Chief Specialist and Mr. Zurab JÄNES, Senior Specialist attended.
From the Japanese Embassy Ms. Yuki SAKAI, Counsellor (Deputy Head of the Mission), Dr. Hiroshi TAKENAKA, Researcher and Mr. Hiroki KASHIWAZAKI, Security Attaché accompanied.
Prior to the dinner, the Ambassador made a power point presentation entitled “Japan and the Emperor”.
Then the participants moved to the ventilated dining hall and sat together, keeping the distance with each other.
The Ambassador started the dinner, expressing his sincerest gratitude to all the participants for supporting the Japanese Embassy’s activities, including the recent visit by the Japanese Foreign Minister, in such a generous manner!
Then all the participants enjoyed conversations over the authentic Japanese dishes cooked by Mr. Takaaki ARAI, the official chef of the Ambassador.
For the Ambassador, this dinner also turned out to be a very precious occasion to learn various aspects of Estonia, including the situation on COVID19 or usage of IT by the Estonian nationals.
The Ambassador would like to express his gratitude from the bottom of his heart, to all the participants for so kindly accepting his invitation!
