"Japanese Culture Day" was held in Rakvere

On April 6, a “Japanese Culture Day” was held in Rakvere at Rakvere State Gymnasium, organized by the Japanese Cultural Society in Estonia.
In his opening remarks, Ambassador Matsumura expressed his gratitude at the deepening of the Japan-Estonia relation in various fields.
After the opening ceremony, all participants, including Ambassador Matsumura and Mr. Kaido Höövelson (Baruto), who is a famous former sumo wrestler, also did the Japanese radio calisthenics together.
Through various workshops took place as well, such as calligraphy, Yosakoi dance, lectures about Japanese literature by those who have studied in Japan, all the visitors there enjoyed Japanese culture.
