Ozeki Baruto retires, saying „I want to become Yokozuna in my new life!“
The retirement „Cutting Topknot“ ceremony of Baruto was conducted on February 8th at the Kokugikan Stadium in Tokyo. This has made Sekitori Baruto, Mr. Kaido Höövelson officially retired.
According to news from Japan, more than 200 fans including many people from Estonia cut his topknot one after the other and spoke to him words of appreciation for his ten years’ effort.
Baruto responded to the people at the Stadium and said very strongly „I want to be a Yokozuna in my new life.“ We are very much looking forward to his active contribution for Japan and Estonia.
