Open lecture:  “Abenomics and Japan’s pending issues”  by Mr. Hajime TAKATA,
20 October 2015

The Embassy of Japan and School of Economics, Tallinn University of Technology (TUT) will host an open lecture “Abenomics and Japan’s pending issues” by Mr. Hajime Takata, Chief Economist, Mizuho Research Institute, Tokyo, at 12 noon, room SOC-209, TUT, on 20 October.
“Abenomics” – the Japanese economic policies led by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, are based on what are called “three arrows” – monetary relaxation, operative financial action and development strategy. During his lecture, Mr. Hajime Takata points out how Japan broke away from the frozen depression that lasted two decades. Takata explains the latest conditions of the Japanese economy and indicates how to get out of “Japanization” for the near future. This is a unique opportunity for an Estonian audience in the spheres of business as well as academic studies to attend a lecture by the leading expert on the Japanese economy.
